Post Gazette Article about Project Pop-Up: Night Market

So this is the first post.  We made this blog in anticipation of our first event.  The Downtown Partnership is doing a Project Pop-Up: Night Market and we got ourselves a spot.  Check out the above link for more information on the event itself (and note our gracious shout out).

Night Market starts at 7pm and goes until midnight in a parking lot downtown: 917-919 Liberty Ave right by where Smithfield and Seventh hit Liberty.  We will have pumpkin pie, apple pie, and lemon meringue pie.  We’re shooting to make about thirty pies, but who knows how many we will actually make.  Considering we’ve never done this before, there could be a massive sellout or none sold at all.  Either way, come eat our pies and try to get there earlier on in the night to play it safe.

A pie Louis made somewhere in Europe (probably)

You can expect us to be finding more of these events in the days to come.  Unfortunately we’re operating at a zero capital capacity, so it’ll be a while before we’re in full operation.  In the mean time we’re just looking to get our name out there and give the people of p’burgh some delicious pies.  Things to look for in the future include savory pies such as pot pies, meat/pork pies and tomato pie (for those of you who don’t know what a tomato pie is: it’s a pizza without cheese), and more adventurous dessert pies.

See You,
