Howdy Pie Fans,

So now that the farmers’ market season is over and done with, it’s holiday pie season! Yes, I’m hereby announcing that I’m taking holiday preorders for Christmas! Santa’s loading his sleigh with my freshly baked delectable pies and coming straight down your frickin’ chimney!

So first things first, flavors: our Christmas selection will include apple-cranberry, the ever-popular chocolate pecan, straight-up pumpkin (yes, I still have fresh pumpkins!), mincemeat (no acutal meat, but dried fruit, oragne, and rum!) aaaaaaaand our newest addition to the piebrary, the Christmas custard pie: think gingerbread cookie crust, eggnog pudding, and freshly whipped cream (with rum) adorned with a cranberry syrup (with more rum)! Also there will be a Christmas-themed meat pie, probably some sort of duck and beer or wine pie, methinks….

All pies will be baked and ready for pick-up on Christmas Eve, Tuesday, Dec. 24 at three locations: Zeke’s Coffee in East Liberty (from 8am-12pm), DJ’s Butcher Block in Bloomfield (from 10am-4pm), and the Penn Ave Fish Co. in the Strip (from 11am-2pm).

All pies are 10″ and $20 as per usual. Payment must be received in advance either by credit card over the phone (724-355-9126) or by check in the mail (made out to Louis Butler and sent to 629 Collins St, Pgh, 15206).

So if you need a pie or two (or ten!) for your Christmas celebration, give me a ring today! Ordering deadline is Sunday, Dec. 22!
